Equipped with two front wheels capable of locking upright, the 310 has also been given a new engine to meet Euro5+ emissions regulations – climbing from 278cc to a 310cc four-stroke single cylinder engine. Power is now a claimed 26bhp at 7500rpm, with a peak torque figure of 20.1lb.ft arriving at 6000rpm. It’s not just about the new engine either, with the front-end styling tweaked to become wider and more protective from the elements – ideal for those commuting on a year-round basis.
Front lights are now also full LED, with a small honeycomb front grill sitting just below to give the appearance of a happy smiling face to oncoming motorists and pedestrians.
Also new is the wide windscreen, which expands further than the front bodywork in a teardrop shape, that covers part of the side mirrors and handlebars, with a central duct to direct airflow to the rider.
