“We have another great selection of 140 motorcycles dating from a 1912 Humber to a 2019 Kawasaki.” Commented George Beale. “From unreserved bikes to rides estimated at £50,000 there is something for all pockets.”
Held at the Hayer Motor Museum in Yeovil, the features machines spanning multiple genres of motorcycling. Some are split mint, whilst others are in need of re-commissioning or even a full restoration.
Among the line-up is a 1934 Sunbeam Model 95L – distinct from its near identical racing sister model, the 95R with the addition of lights. The classic bike is described as being in “excellent condition” and full running order. It is expected to fetch £16,000 – £17,000.
There’s also a 1925 Sunbeam Model 11 Works Sprint machine up for grabs, with an expected end price of £27,000 – £28,000.
The 500cc machine was first registered on May 26, 1925, and was used by the factory team riders in sprints and speed trials.
